Pumpkin Patch Trip with Grandma and Pappy

Grandma and Pappy came with us to the pumpkin patch near wear they live. I had a blast climbing on things, jumping around, and sliding down long tubes.

Trip to Rolling Hills Zoo

My parents and great-grandma took me to the zoo to see all the animals in October. It was a beautiful day. I sure thought this camel looked funny with it's two humps.

This was my favorite part of the day getting to feed the giraffes. They sure had long tongues!

Me riding one of the animal statues since I couldn't ride any of the real ones.

I liked crawling through this tunnel on the way out of the zoo. I sure laughed alot!

Elsie's First Haircut

I got my first haircut on October 1, 2010. I had fun sitting up in the big chair. I even got to pick out the cape. The lady said that I did such a nice job and now I get to use big people shampoo to help my hair grow better and healthier. My mom saved a snip to put in my baby book. I can't wait to go back and visit those silly ladies.

BNSF Shop Trip

My Pappy works for the BNSF Railroad and he got an invitation to go to the open house at the Topeka Shop. The shop is where they overhaul the engines and get them back out to work. The Topeka Shop is the only place in the USA that the BNSF has to do the major overhauls of engines. It was really cool!!

Here I am in the engineers seat. I didn't get to blow the horn but it was still awesome!!

This is a shot of the inside of the shop. It's 900 feet long!!! They can overhaul a train engine in 24 hours and get it back out on the rails.

My Pappy and I inside the Passenger Car named Topeka. It's a business car that some of the executives get to ride in.
This is the actual engine that goes inside a train engine.

KC T-Bones Game

Over the Labor Day weekend we traveled to Pappy and Bamma's house. We went to a KC T-Bones game with some of our friends.

Here I am enjoying the playground. I loved the swings, climbing the ladder, and going down the slide.

This is Sizzle the team mascot. I called him Scissors for a little while until I figured out how to say Sizzle.

My dad and I enjoying the game. I clap and say "Yeah Baseball!" when something good happens.

This is My dad, Sizzle, me, and the baseball that I caught. Well I didn't actually catch it my mom held me up and my dad caught the ball. I'm only two I can't catch a baseball yet!

Summer Vacation 2010

My family traveled to Arkansas for vacation this summer. We did many things on our trip and here are some pictures to show what we were up to down there.
Enjoying my cheetos at a Naturals ballgame in Springdale. I also got to run the bases after the game with my dad. I had a great time!

We visited the capital building in Little Rock on our way through. I sat down with my dad to enjoy a snack after our tour was over. Then we headed back outside to look at the large doors. There sure was alot of steps to climb to get to them but I didn't mind since I like to climb.

While in Hot Springs we visited one of the bath houses that the National Park Service keeps up as a museum. I loved playing in the dressing room area because I could hide behind the doors.

The water sure was hot. I only touched it 2 short times. I also got to feed some goats and deer while we were there.

We also went to a Travelers game in Little Rock with my Great Uncle Randy and Cousin Travis. It was very humid but we enjoyed it just the same.

This was one of my favorite things about vacation this year. I got to dig for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park. I had some much fun digging in the dirt. This was a place where I was allowed to play in the dirt and even the mud. We didn't find any diamonds but it was fun. We took a dip in their water park afterwards to cool off. I loved going down the side and splashing into the water.

Trip to Gage Park with Bamma

Bamma and my mom took me to Gage Park on a recent visit to their house. I got to ride the train and the carousel there. I really enjoyed going through the tunnel on the train ride and have talked about tunnels ever since.
