Random Pictures

I took some of mommy's peronal items and used them as necklaces. My dad caught me in the act.

This was one of my favorite summertime snacks! Popsicles!!!

I love shoes!!! I love shoes!!! I love shoes!!! It doesn't matter whose they are.

Trip to Oregon

In late July I went on my second family vacation to the Oregon Coast. We were there for a family reunion on my Grandma Ohrenberg's side of the family. Many of them hadn't met me yet. Here are a few pics from the trip.

Here I am goofing around with Daddy on the plane ride out to Oregon. It was pretty cool to ride on the plane. I even got a nap in.

Here Mom and I are along the Columbia River. We are standing in Oregon and Washington State is on the other side of the river.

Enjoying my first view of the ocean and my first walk on the beach. I wasn't actually walking but I was enjoying the ride. I loved to carry rocks or seashells on our daily walks.

We went the aquarium. I really enjoyed looking at all the creatures from the deep. I wasn't scared at all of the animals in the water and wanted to touch them all. Here I am touching a starfish. We also took a boat cruise out onto the ocean. My tummy sure felt funny while I was out there but I didn't get sick. They even let me and my dad drive the boat. We also caught crab.

Day at Salina Airport July 10th

I went with my great grandpa to the Salina Airport to look at some planes from WWII. They sure were big.

We got a real up close look at one of the Salina Airport's firetrucks. I sure felt short!

Hey, can I drive this thing?

Riding My Pony

I got this pony for my birthday. I am now beginning to figure out how he works. Eventually mom says that I will be able to play educational games on the TV with it.

Trip to Omaha

We took a family trip to Omaha for a couple of days. Of course we were there to watch baseball. We enjoyed two games of the College World Series. I was able to work on my tan and enjoyed spending time outside.

We also took in the Omaha Zoo. This was my first trip to a zoo. I got to pet some animals and look at lots of others. Even though I'm not petting this goat in the picture I did pet him. I also grabbed him by th horns but he didn't seem to mind.

There were many kinds of monkeys at the zoo. My parents thought it would be fun to see where I compared on the size chart.

This was my favorite part of the zoo, the aquarium. I just thought it was so cool to watch the fish, rays, and sharks! I couldn't get enough of them.

Sleeping

My mom came in to wake me up one morning and she found me sound asleep like this. I didn't wake up until mommy had taken several pictures of me.

Pool Time

I got a new pool from my friends the Rice's for my birthday. My mom got it blown up and I got to enjoy it today after my afternoon nap. I really enjoyed splashing in the water.

I also figured out my push toy this evening as well. Check me out!

I'm 1!

I can't believe that I'm already 1! My parents can't either. The theme of my party was of course ladybugs. My mom worked real hard on my birthday cake. Didn't it turn out cute!

The kids got to play put the spot on the ladybug. My daddy helped me with it. The winner got a container to collect bugs in.

I enjoyed eating my special cupcake as you can see by my face. YUM! YUM! Thanks to all who made my first birthday special!!

Trip #2 to the K

I got to go to my second Royals game ever on the 17th. The new K looks really cool. I even got a lion when I came through the gate. He's really soft!

Here's me and my dad looking at the new Houser statue at the ballpark. We also got near the fountains and we got sprayed! It was fun!!

I also got to play with my Dad's hat later on in the game. I couldn't see a thing!

Grandpa and Grandma Ohrenberg's 50th Anniversary

My Ohrenberg Grandparent's have been married for 50 years! Wow!! We had a party for them in Missouri. I had fun meeting family members that hadn't met me yet.

I aslo had my first bloody boo-boo that day. I was exploring the area and pulled myself up on a chair and I fell over backwards and hit my head. The force of the fall split my gum and I bled all over mom and me. But I was okay.

Crawling and Pulling Myself Up

In the past month I have mastered two new tricks. CRAWLING and PULLING MYSELF UP!!! Before I just scooted around on my bottom and reached for things with what my mom calls my octopus arms. I really like looking out the back door any chance that I get.

New Clothes!

I got this new hat and dress and wanted to show it off. Everyone at church and at lunch that day thought I was cute.

Look What My Grandparents Taught Me!

When Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit in April they taught me something very important. How to stick out my tongue. My mom isn't too happy but I would have figured it out anyway.

First Easter

My parents took me to a Easter Celebration with my mom's family. I got to see my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Uncle Eric put me in my new swing that I got from Grandma and Grandpa for Easter. I wasn't to sure about it as you can tell by the look on my face. I have been in swings before but not one like this. Hopefully my daddy will get it put up soon at home so I can enjoy it this spring.

My cousins and I got to hunt for eggs that my Dad and Uncle Micah had hidden outside. I didn't really have to hunt to hard because Evan and I were able to pick the ones that were right on top of the grass. They sure were bright. Evan even figured out how to get them open by throwing them on the ground. There was candy inside but I couldn't have any. They were sure fun to shake to make noise.

Springtime Fun

I enjoy cruising around on the floor these days. Although I don't crawl like most babies do. I can pretty much get into just about anything that I am allowed to by my parents.

On a recent trip to my Goodman Grandparents house I got my first ride in the wagon that Grandpa bought just for the grandkids. We went up and down the street. I loved it!! When grandpa would stop I had to rock to let him know that he needed to keep going.

My grandma was taking my measurements to make an Easter dress for me. Then she let me play with her tape measure.
My parents have been trying to get me to drink out of a cup. I sure like it because it's something new and I get to blow bubbles in the cup. My grandparents sure thought I was cute!

Inside because it's cold out!

One of my new outfits I received for Christmas was a new pair of red overalls. I think they are super!

One night while mommy and I were home by ourselves mom put me in the basket and let me play. It was pretty fun as you can tell by the smile on my face.

On a visit to my grandparents house in Silver Lake I received new mittens and a hat for the winter time. They put them on me and I couldn't play very easily but they were sure soft.

Since I haven't seen very much of my daddy during his audit season it was sure nice to play with him. I really liked his baseball cap.

My First Christmas

My mommy has been working hard getting all of the pictures from the past few months taken care of. Here are a few pictures from my first Christmas.

My grandma made me this special onsie.

I wasn't feeling too good on Christmas as you can tell. I spiked a pretty high fever but a bath and tylenol sure helped.

After that I felt much better and was able to enjoy Christmas. My dad and I were able to have a good conversation about the day.
