BNSF Shop Trip

My Pappy works for the BNSF Railroad and he got an invitation to go to the open house at the Topeka Shop. The shop is where they overhaul the engines and get them back out to work. The Topeka Shop is the only place in the USA that the BNSF has to do the major overhauls of engines. It was really cool!!

Here I am in the engineers seat. I didn't get to blow the horn but it was still awesome!!

This is a shot of the inside of the shop. It's 900 feet long!!! They can overhaul a train engine in 24 hours and get it back out on the rails.

My Pappy and I inside the Passenger Car named Topeka. It's a business car that some of the executives get to ride in.
This is the actual engine that goes inside a train engine.

KC T-Bones Game

Over the Labor Day weekend we traveled to Pappy and Bamma's house. We went to a KC T-Bones game with some of our friends.

Here I am enjoying the playground. I loved the swings, climbing the ladder, and going down the slide.

This is Sizzle the team mascot. I called him Scissors for a little while until I figured out how to say Sizzle.

My dad and I enjoying the game. I clap and say "Yeah Baseball!" when something good happens.

This is My dad, Sizzle, me, and the baseball that I caught. Well I didn't actually catch it my mom held me up and my dad caught the ball. I'm only two I can't catch a baseball yet!
